Assisted Rehoming Group

Given the number of enquiries we get for rehoming species we are unfortunately unable to take in—lorikeets, conures, galahs, corellas, to name a few—as well as for people seeking to adopt, we’re in the planning stages of a private assisted rehoming group on Facebook.

This group would help birds find safe, loving homes; as well as people who are looking to find a new feathered family member.

This form is to help us gauge your thoughts on the group and suggested policies and processes.

Your responses will help us:

• understand what people need

• decide what rules will best protect birds

• gauge how many people may be looking to rehome or adopt

This form does include some fields for identifying information, however these aren’t mandatory. General location is requested only to gauge how far, geographically, interest extends.
